I can't stand when I see people like a previous commenter saying homeless people should "die in a ditch." Sounds like many dictators and perpetrators of genocide and "ethnic cleansing". Do you think they choose to live filthy, broke, and without shelter? As a victim of unemployment and low salary myself, I can say from experience that once you're out, it's hard to get back in. Most employers require online applications and resume submissions these days, which would be an incredible feat for someone without a home, much less working computers, internet, and electricity. Many homeless people are uneducated, without money for education they cannot pursue degrees that are a necessity in the majority of modern jobs. Have a little empathy and some sympathy.
