JeffR was one of about ten DUers I actually liked. He was the one who started the DUzy awards, acknowledging those who actually demonstrated humor during the week. For the resident wiseasses it was motivation to turn up the volume on the ridicule. He and I talked a lot by DU messaging; he was a quality person.

The DUzy awards disappeared some time ago, and I lost track of Jeff.

Bummer.
