John Andrew Tate pointed proudly to the eagle feathers hanging from his hat and asked the Omaha school board a single question.

“Do I have bling-bling on?” he said.

Tate and other members of the city’s Native American community showed up before the Omaha Public Schools board Monday night to protest a decision by South High to bar a student from wearing eagle plumes and beads on her graduation cap at Tuesday’s commencement ceremony.

South High staff allegedly told the student that no adornments — specifically, no “bling” — could be attached to caps.

This was interesting because the DUmmies are defending a student's right to display a religious symbol on school grounds, a public school no less. There is some good logic twisting there to somehow be for this student and yet also still be for the "wall" between church and state.

This was interesting because the DUmmies are defending a student's right to display a religious symbol on school grounds, a public school no less.

The only religion democrats hate is Christianity.

All types of heathen superstitions and cults, above all the muzzie cult, are revered and beyond reproach.

They would support a ban on crucifixes.

I don't see what the big problem is, though.  Obama has said it's fine to kill all the Bald Eagles you want, as long as you are doing it with solar or wind power generators.

Not sure about that, I just remember being told in the scouts that Indians were able to have eagle feathers because it was a part of their religion. That was years ago, of course, so It could have been trumped by the environment. But as Thundley4 said as many eagles as needed can be sacrificed to the 'god' called green energy.

This is easy. If their gender is/was capable of getting pregnant = female. Anything else, regardless of what was chopped off = male.
