People are tired of Republican ideas and desperate for the ideas that Bernie is pushing.

It will depend on if people actually care to vote.

28. It depends on how many Democrats don't vote for him in the general...

for whatever reasons.

And considering the division within the Republican Party, I could see Bernie appealing to a lot of "Reagan Democrat" types and also some Republicans.

I would say his chances are good but that he will have to overcome the "old socialist" label. He's a wise old coot with the right ideas to fix this country.

This is why kentuck is regarded as perhaps the stupidest of the stupid.

Bernie Sanders is a Socialist and he makes no bones about that.

He'd at least be the first Dem candidate in a long time to be honest from the start about his political beliefs.

I seriously doubt Bernie will make it through 5 primaries before he pulls out. I just don't believe that there are as many full bore leftists as DU thinks.

One thing that will be made clear, whatever the results are of "A Primary at Bernie's" it will be known just how accepted by the rest of the country the far left is.

The DUmbass is correct. A lot of people who voted for Reagan would vote for a Socialist like Sanders.....the dead ones. The ones that are still on the sunny side of the dirt? Not so much.

Also, I think there are more disenchanted Republicans than we can guess and Bernie has a chance to get their votes, also, if he asks for them. If people vote the issues instead of their Party, Bernie can win.

He won't inspire any new voters.  He'll turn a lot of the Obama coalition off.
