I use to download a lot of torrent files and never even came close to hitting my ISP's limit.  My wife watches a lot of streaming video and we still don't come close.

There are a lot of suggestions at that link. Maybe one of them will work for you.

If the problem was with DU, there would be a zillion people griping. There aren't.

But I assume you meant that as hyperbole, since there are nowhere close to a zillion people signed up to DU.

Lots and lots of people griping. So you're not. Yay you.

Now, for the umpteenth time...I have no issues with any other web sites. None. But I see several posters here with the same complaint...DU loads painfully slow, it it loads at all.

So, you have no such problem. Yay, you. I have no such problem with any other web site EXCEPT DU. So I guess you're just awesome. You got the special Skinner Love. I'm just relaying my experience. I can log onto many other web sites and they all function just fine. I can log onto DU and have to click two or three times to get the front page to load.

Obviously it's because I'm an idiot and don't know how to click a bookmark. Asshole.
