I work for a living, leech! Social programs were intended to be temporary safety nets when finding a new job didn't happen in a very few weeks. Not a multi-generational lifestyle!

Those people looting and burning stores will start learning what a real "food desert" is as those stores don't rebuild and reopen. Not that the neighborhood thugs and thug-ettes have the brains to connect the burnt-out rotting shells to the looting and burning they did weeks and months and years earlier. The thugs and thug-ettes lack the brains to figure out that large corporations are unlikely to risk money and people by building and running a store in a neighborhood with a history of looting and burning stores.

Sadly, ar large percentage of those who suffer economically from the coming real "food desert" will be the neighborhood people whose worst "crime" was staying behind locked doors while their looter neighbors and imported thugs rampaged.

Edit: OTOH, journalists getting a taste of the @#$% they've been helping stir up could be salutary! I do feel some sympathy for the roughed up Chinese crew (unless they were there to smear the US, something not in evidence).

Agreed.  It doesn't help that during the Treyvon Martin case that both Holder and Obama were on national television commenting on the issue of race relations and brutality by law enforcement.  Those comments were the catalyst to what we are now witnessing in Baltimore.  It was a golden opportunity for this administration to add to the decline of race relations and to put an additional strain on our law enforcement personnel.  Obama seemingly wants as much destruction brought to this country as possible.  It sure seems inevitable that this will be one "hot" summer and perhaps will ultimately lead to him declaring marshal law.

Don't even know why we get excited about this crap anymore. Same shit, different day. It will be big for a small amount of time, taper off, Dems will beat their chests, and continue to be the race baiting ****s that they are until another one pops up, and the cycle repeats itself. Real problem is liberalism, democrats, entitlement, and downright  ME attitudes. Something needs to break the cycle, and something needs to break it in a BIG way.

The source, who is involved in the enforcement efforts, confirmed to Fox News there was a direct order from the mayor to her police chief Monday night, effectively tying the hands of officers as they were pelted with rocks and bottles.

Asked directly if the mayor was the one who gave that order, the source said: "You are God damn right it was."
