Ok, well a few of us got to talking about a midwest get together so I was going to just put this out there for some feelers as far as dates, times, places and such.

So far was looking at late Aug/early Sept. Maybe Cedar Point(a rollercoaster park, but you'd be stuck around your fellow CCers(love or hate on the forum) all day :-) or maybe a meet up in Chitown for some drinks or something. Indianapolis is probably a good center point too for the midwest in general. So, let's generate some discussion on this to see if there is any interest.

Well, I'll be in NW Michigan for the first part of September, then I'll be driving down to St. Louis.

Cedar Point would be easier for me to get to, since we planned on stopping to see my Grandparents in Detroit.  Though I honestly doubt we'd be doing much with the amusement park.  Having a 3 month old baby and all.

Indy would be workable.  Pretty straight shot from Detroit to St. Louis cuts right through Indy.

I will actually be in the midwest from late Aug through mid-Sept.  I would offer Taxman's Casa del Playa (about five hours north of Indy on the crystal blue waters in economically ravaged Michigan) but somehow I envision legions of drunken CC'ers vomiting over the furniture, drowning in the lake or breaking chairs over eachothers heads.  :-)  Unfortunately, though I have some activities scheduled each weekend (not colonoscopies either) during that time slot.
