OUR CALIFORNIA CONSTITUTION — the law of our land — SHOULD GUARANTEE THE SAME FREEDOMS AND RIGHTS TO EVERYONE — NO ONE group SHOULD be singled out to BE TREATED DIFFERENTLY.But it is perfectly ok with you to treat normality differently, right? You want to take away the rights of those who do not want to live in a society which condones homosexual "marriage". How are those peoples rights less important than the rights of the radical homosexual agenda? Either way, someone is going to lose, so why shouldn't it be the homosexuals? There are a lot fewer of them.In fact, our nation was founded on the principle that all people should be treated equally. EQUAL PROTECTION UNDER THE LAW IS THE FOUNDATION OF AMERICAN SOCIETY.Everyone of age walking around this great country of ours has the same rights. E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E. What you are wanting is for people to give up rights in order for your pet group to get special rights. I have just as much right to live in a country which defines marriage as it has been for the last 6000 years, as being between two people of the opposite sex, as you homo lovers have the right to try to change natural tradition. So expect a fight. That's what this election is about — equality, freedom and fairness, for all.No it's not. You are trying to confuse an issue so it can be misunderstood by as many people as possible. You do so because you know if you were honest, you'd lose for sure. Marriage is the institution that conveys dignity and respect to the lifetime commitment of any couple. PROPOSITION 8 WOULD DENY LESBIAN AND GAY COUPLES that same DIGNITY AND RESPECT.Marriage would no longer be an institution that conveys dignity and respect if it is cheapened to include two homos with the same sex organs trying to get each other off in order to fullfill their unnatural sexual disfunctions. Get real!That's why Proposition 8 is wrong for California.Proposition 8 would not be wrong anywhere. It protects the rights of the all citizens to live in a society that does not applaud the sickness of homosexuality.Regardless of how you feel about this issue, the freedom to marry is fundamental to our society, just like the freedoms of religion and speech. Now you are stretching the idea that marriages which start out on the promise that children are not possible is somehow fundamental to our society. Wrong, Bozo. Homos have been doing their thing in the shadows for centuries. Society has been just fine without them in the mainstream. Why risk changing it now? It could be a big mistake. OUR LAWS SHOULD TREAT EVERYONE EQUALLY.Our laws do treat everyone equally. It is the mental illness of homosexuality which is depriving a small segment of our population from taking advantage of the right to marry. The law is fair. The illness is not.
