It's the all but inescapable rhetorical trap pro-Abortion people who purvey the grossly obviously false clump-of-cells narrative set for themselves. Speaking of the unborn baby in contexts unrelated to abortion all but entails admissions that the clump-of-cells narrative is ludicrously false.
In a way it's something of a rhetorical victory for Pro-Life people that US Pro-Abortion people have to resort to the clump-of-cells narrative, denying the grossly obvious fact that a large percentage of women experience severe psychological problems after having an abortion, and silly metaphysical "personhood" arguments. Sadly, rhetorical victories don't stop the slaughter of ~1,000,000 babies a year in US abortuaries.
