A FOX News camera captured the Rev. Jesse Jackson uttering the N-word while he was preparing to tape an interview earlier this month, a word he has denounced publicly as degrading to African Americans.

On Wednesday, FOX News’ host Bill O’Reilly revealed the details of Jackson’s appearance on tape, saying that he wanted to lay to rest reports based on news leaks.

Appearing on “Studio B With Shepard Smith,” Smith asked O’Reilly if Jackson’s remarks included the N-word, as some news reports had indicated.

“Yeah. And it’s trash talking,” O’Reilly said.

Jackson has been vocally critical of others’ use of the N-word, saying it is hurtful to the black community, whether it is used by blacks or whites.

I was afraid this was what he said. I don't buy the argument for a minute that the word "******" is okay for some people to use, but worse than killing someone if others do. It IS, IMO, an offensive word that should be discouraged, but I'm tired of hearing it called the "n-word". Babytalk like that is so politically correct and self-righteous.

Hannity and Colmes are on. They are talking about the meltdown in The Spew (View) today. Showed a clip of Whoopi telling token conservative Elisabeth (bless her heart) that it's basically okay for blacks to use the N word because they are "taking it back and owning it". Lots of debate flying back and forth.

Hannity's panel made a lot of good points. Colmes is such a useless tool. Why do they even have him?

Anyway, Colmes was trying to defend Whoopi's rationalization by saying "can't you change the meaning of that word?" "Isn't Whoopi right?"

The guy on the panel said, "if you really believed that Alan you would have used the word just now and you didn't."  :fuelfire:

I watched that, Sherry tried to tell Barbara that black people in her (Sherry's) family used it as a term of endearment, When Barbara opened her mouth to ask if she used the N word.....Sherry cut her off mid-sentence with "I don't wanna hear it comin outta your mouth"

Well, I thinks to myself, if they have'nt anymore respect for each other than to call each other the N word, then I won't worry about respecting them anymore either. Must be that the N word isn't half as bad as they've been trying to tell us it was!


Bullshit on one race of people telling another race of people what language they can or cannot use. Fcuk that!

Colmes is so pathetic that I almost feel protective of him.  He is like a little boy trying to speak out in a room full of adults.  What is really sad is that more than half the time I don't think he believes half the stuff he tries to defend and that is why he comes across so lame.
