AF #1 lands in Charlotte in pouring rain....Obama melts.

Unfortunately no. It was funny, no big crowd there to greet him, just a local TV crew.

The AF crew and SS were all bare headed and got soaked in the rain. Obama and Elba Adams, black. female rep of district 12, had umbrellas. She got to the limo and couldn't figure out how to close her umbrella, she threw it down and the SS man had to close it and put it in the limo for her. The limo made a U-turn, went a few feet and Obama got out and entered a building, 30 seconds later he exited the building and got back in the limo. TV said he was scheduled to leave town before rush hour. Rush hour in that area of Charlotte starts about 3 o'clock so he just stopped in long enough to screw things up for the local little people.

I would love to see data for WJC, GWB, and BHO for:

* How many trips each did to civilian airports;

* At what hours of the day;

* How many hours the various airports were shut down for security reasons;

* What times their motorcades shut down freeways;

* With what radius;

* At what times;

* For how long.

My impression - which could be very incorrect - is that WJC messed with normal people's lives more than GWB, and BHO more than WJC or GWB. GWB had his ranch in Crawford, and for many of his trips went there (much as Reagan did with his ranch in Santa Barbara; my memory of JEC is that he spent a fair amount of time at Plains and Camp David). WJC, IIRC, did not at that time have a suitable home in Arkansas; nor, OTOH, did he go much to Camp David. BHO and Mooch-chelle do have a large home in Chicago, one that probably could be suitable for Presidential comms and security entourage. But BHO and Mooch-chelle are making the most of their ability to jet-set and mess up normal productive people's lives on the taxpayers' dime.

Obama seems to make trips just to make the trip and bill taxpayers for them.  How many trips has he made across the country not to convince people that a bill needs passed, but to try and convince people that a law he has already signed is a good thing?

I have heard a very expressive (and very racist) phrase that explains the phenomena of black people suddenly getting rich and not knowing how to act appropriately with their new found wealth.
They go off on sprees and larks, and are careless and reckless with their money.
