Obama Blames the Right for Attacks on Wife
« on: July 17, 2008, 10:29:50 AM »

The MichelleStar! has interjected herself into this campaign by saying some pretty outrageous
shit as an official spokesman for her husband.  if he doesn't want her public statements scrutinized,
then tell Her Brilliance to stick to her 10 vanilla talking points that I am SURE the BHO campaign has
provided her with (and I am sure that his campaign managers wish to God she WOULD stick to them)
or she will have to take what's coming.

and, jeez, what a damn whiner he's being about this. :whatever:    I hate her, but I;ll give hillary this
much;  when she got attacked, she always gave as good as she got . . . and then some.  I don't
recall billdo clinton whining about his wife's dust-ups with the media, although I DO recall him whining
about the right wing media attacking HIM unfairly. :-)

think about that one. :thatsright:

Quote
Obama Blames the Right for Attacks on Wife

Senator Barack Obama blamed the right-wing media for attacks on his wife, Michelle, that have driven up her negative ratings.

In an interview with Glamour magazine , Mr. Obama pointed to “the conservative press — Fox News and the National Review and columnists of every ilk,” and said they “went fairly deliberately at her in a pretty systematic way” and that they “treated her as the candidate in a way that you just rarely see the Democrats try to do against Republicans.”

He suggested that spouses be off limits, calling them “civilians” and saying “they didn’t sign up for this.”

A survey in late May by the Pew Research Center for People and the Press found that 22 percent of the public had negative views of Mrs. Obama, while 16 percent had negative views of Cindy McCain, the wife of Senator John McCain, the likely Republican nominee. Both had about the same level of favorable ratings, with 44 percent for Mrs. Obama and 42 percent for Mrs. McCain.

In the interview, to be published in the magazine this fall, Mr. Obama also told Cindi Leive, the editor of the magazine, that his wife is “ironically the most quintessentially American woman I know. She grew up in a ‘Leave it to Beaver’ family.”

Wow... all the rest of the women he knows complain about being less proud of their countries than she does ?    Elitist, racist, clueless and people think he ought to be president....  amazing...
My fellow Americans, there is nothing audacious about hope. Hope is what makes people buy lottery tickets instead of paying the bills. Hope is for the old gals feeding the slots in Atlantic City. It destroys the inner-city kid who quits school because he hopes he'll be a world-famous recording artist.

What's the difference between Sarah Palin and Barack Obama?

One is a well turned-out, good-looking, and let's be honest, pretty sexy piece of eye-candy.

The other kills her own food.

I'm a white people. I don't like Michelle. Why? It's quite simple "For the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country" and, "America is a downright mean country."  And that's the way it is!  I think all these ridiculous calls of "racism" are going to backfire and singe the loony left eyebrows!

When did the Hillary 08 Crowd become "right wing"?

The only difference between Michelle Obama and Omarosa is a couple of weeks on a "reality" TV show.

BTW--I find Omarosa more likeable.

I haven't followed Cindy McCain. In fact I haven't followed the Fish Eyed Fool either. The only time either candidates' spouse hits my radar is when an article gets published and/or referenced here.

I know that Cindy has been on trail with her husband. I haven't seen her give speeches. Either she isn't or the media doesn't cover them.

Michelle on the other hand, seems to be a lot more than a "civilian" in this campaign. Nice try Ooooobama.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Obama Blames the Right for Attacks on Wife

Well, Doh!  Who the hell else is going to do the heavy work?

I do resent the changing of the meaning of the word 'attack'.  An 'attack' is malicious harm.  The word is constantly misused by liberals to make as many people as possible believe something besides the truth.

An honest headline would read:

That's unfair of you, your Lordship, to attack headline writers with the truth like that.  You big meanie!

that's because Cindy isn't shooting her mouth off in the media twice a week.  but watch, sometime around the conventions,
the MSM will begin to take note that while The MichelleStar! is "a professional", while Cindy McCain is "merely" a wife.

I swear to God, I heard those exact words spoken about hillary and tipper, in comparison to Barbara Bush and (whatever
Dan Quayle's wife's name was) during the GOP convention that year.

Well they are already trying to make this mud stick:

1. Beer heiress
2. Couture lover
3. Stepford/Trophy wife (with a little homewrecker thrown in)

I have no doubt they will do the same to her that they did to Barbara and Laura Bush. It's pathetic and predictable.

There he goes whining AGAIN to his PR publicists, aka the staff of the NYT. They did jump all over Cindy McCain because she was late paying her taxes on a property in trust. Now, BHO the twit is going to go overseas and let that loose cannon of a wife of his stay here and "campaign" for him.

Nobody put a gun to her ghetto head and made her run her mouth, and Barack Hussein Obama's the quintessential "civillian". ::)

Glamour magazine? I used to read that one all the time until I was around 22 or so. Nice to see BHO hitting the "hard news".

yeah, that and The View. :whatever:  he's running hard for the women's vote, or he's running desperately away from a substantive interview of any kind . . . or both.

Someone left a copy of Glamour at my house a few months ago. What trash! It's Gyrlpowr/Wymns Unite! politically correct bullshit. They try to do "hard hitting" pieces but invariably end up sounding like CodePink In Training. No wonder I stopped buying it.

What a liar!  Laura Bush and Nancy Reagan always were, are now, and forever will be the object of more vulgar attacks from the left than Michelle Obama will ever be from the right.  You can bitch when Sean Hannity calls her "Hitler's Dog" or says, "Here’s hoping the hag suffers for several weeks, then croaks in the tub."  :whatever:  Cry me a river, you *****.

What was that he was preaching the other day about accepting responsibility?

His wife opened her mouth, and said some stupid things.  Don't blame other people for your wife not thinking.
