****WCGreen Update --Thursday, April 9, 2015--the Final Update****

I just got off the phone with Laurie, Chris' wife.

The news is not good.

His doctor says he will probably pass in the next 24 hours or so. It doesn't look like there will be any recovery from this overwhelming infection this time. No miracles this time.

It's pneumonia. His blood pressure is low, his fever is high, as is his heart rate.

Laurie's been at his bedside and the family is gathering to say goodbye. She has been talking to him, but she told me there's only been a glimmer of recognition from him.

I told her, keep talking. Hearing is the last sense to go, and he can hear you. Thank goodness for that.

Never again will we hear his intelligent, calm thoughts on current events, on movies, or books, or politics/economics...

Pass gently, Chris...see you on the flip side...

I hope his family finds comfort.

That is hilarious!

But I'm surprised the CalPig is making fun of a nearly-dead DUmmy.

Those who reap the most benefit from the continuation of our society should be made to pay more...

Almost everything that has been enacted into law over the last 200 years has to do with protecting the property of those who have property.

But even on a more base level, who would be hurt the most if our society fell apart.

Those of us who are ill and need medical attention would obviously be the first to be hurt.

But when you get down to it, how much different would your life be if things went wrong...

That's my real justification for a graduated tax rate.

Our society shields wealth, protects property and is organized around the swift movement of good and services. Who benefits from all of this, those who own stuff.

You have the most to loose so buck up Thurston, pay your share of the bill...

Somehow managed to keep you alive on a hopeless endeavor for over a year.

Enjoy eternities boiler room.

You know, when I’m on the road, away from home, I don’t do the internet, because there’s too much other stuff going on in real life, although obviously I lurk for a few minutes if the chance arises.

However, this recent doleful event compels me to interrupt, to comment, so as to chastise California Peggy for her conduct and behavior the last several months of the life of the green commode primitive.

I realize she’s in the throes of grief and despair, but really, the way she acted, a horse-whipping wouldn’t be undeserved.

Despite all of her protestations suggesting the contrary, I don’t think California Peggy really cared for the green commode primitive at all.

- - - - - - - - - -

What I’m referring to are the photographs of a vulnerable, sick, dying man that she posted.  It’s a “given” that primitives have no class, no sensitivities, but I always thought California Peggy was, well, better than the other primitives, in the good manners and good taste departments.

It’s true that the green commode primitive was only a primitive, nothing like decent and civilized people are, but he was also…..a human being, and deserved treated like one.

What I, franksolich, got from “reading” the face of the green commode primitive in those photographs was his sense of confusion, embarrassment, and indignation that he was being photographed while in such a decrepit state, but being too weak to resist, there wasn’t a damned thing he could do about it.

I hope to God he never knew these pictures were posted on the internet too, for all to see.

If California Peggy truly wished to honor her friend—or shoe-string relative, or whatever the green commode primitive was to her—they’d known each other for such a long time that surely she also had photographs of him in better days.

Better had she used those photographs, and simply articulated his then-current decreptitude, rather than shaming him like she did.

It got to where I wouldn’t’ve been surprised if someone had caught the green commode primitive, his gown hiked up, his bare ass on a hospital bed-pan, and snapped a photograph of the phenomenon, California Peggy would’ve posted that too.

By the way she acted, I don’t think she really cared for him.

- - - - - - - - - -

I’m not happy that the green commode primitive has sprung loose of this mortal coil, although in all honesty, I’m not exactly sad either; it’s just that I can think of about a hundred other primitives I prefer would hurry up and decease, so as to make this world a better place for all of humanity.

He didn't exactly spring loose.

He lingered for a year-and-a-freaking-half in intensive care, bleeding the taxpayers dry.

I sure hope the Big Guy follows the plan he's been whining about and makes a more inexpensive exit.

I agree with you Frank, about the pictures.  Anybody did that to me, and I would haunt them in terrifying ways the rest of their life.

A DUmmy isn't really most sincerely dead until he shows up in the Dead DUmmy forum.

One hopes the elusive, enigmatic Elad isn't too stoned from the weekend to get the job done on Monday.
