A 47-year-old heir to the Getty oil fortune has been found dead with traumatic injuries but police do not believe foul play was involved.

Paramedics who arrived on the scene found Getty bleeding from a 'traumatic injury to the rectal area' and apparently suffering from blunt-force trauma.

The LA County Coroner said it appeared Getty's death was either accidental or of natural causes at his luxury villa close to Mulholland Drive.

orthostatic hypotension.  Pretty common.

This guy have ulcerative colitis?  Who knows?  There are a couple other natural maladies that could cause that, too.

Nope, vagal response. Bearing down stimulates the vagus nerve, one of your body's reactions to this is slow down the heart. Slow it down in someone who's already in cardiac compromise and you can very well stop. EMTs are taught not to let patients with chest pain go poop.

It's better to not eat fried fluffernutter sandwiches, pounds of bacon in a sitting (sacrilege!), and occasionally do some exercise. We all gotta go out sometime, I'm not planning to die on the shitter...
