Britain to boost Falklands Islands defences
« on: March 24, 2015, 01:58:21 PM »
So what? Well, I've been following the news from this area of the world and this is one of those little known “hot spots” that seldom – if ever – appear in American news. The main problem is – you guessed it – oil! There are reported to be massive amounts of oil deposits in and around the island and Argentina is in desperate economic situations. They need income and energy.

The question is – would Argentina actively seek to gain control of those oil deposits?

Tanking economy, defaulting debt, Hezbollah cover-up, assassinated prosecutor...

Kirchner needs a distraction.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

The Brits retired their Harrier IIs in 2010, and only one of their carriers has not been scrapped. The Illustrious was withdrawn from service last year. Her replacement, the Queen Elizabeth, is not scheduled to be ready until 2016.

Looks to me like the Argentinians have a window of opportunity, and I have heard that they have been making threatening noises. Whatever forces the Brits have in the Falklands better be able to be self-sufficient for several weeks, as reinforcements are likely to be by sea, with no air support. I've heard the UK's SSNs are among the world's best. I hope they have enough in the area to be able to fend off or significantly deplete any Argentine seaborne assault.
If The Vaccine is deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, millions now living would have died.
