OVIEDO, Fla. (AP) - A central Florida man is dead after the mattress he was riding on in the back of a pickup truck sent airborne and dumped him on the road.

The Florida Highway Patrol says the accident happened Sunday afternoon as the truck traveled down a Seminole County road.

Sgt. Kim Montes says the unsecured mattress was on top of some debris the truck was carrying. It flew from the vehicle, carrying 51-year-old Paul Ginther Jr. with it. The truck was driven by 48-year-old Kenneth Connell.

DUmmies are just full of sympathy for a worker that dies while working, as opposed to dying while sitting on their ass...

The truly ironic part and the primary reason I brought this over. Apparently grave dancing is not ok and undermines what DU is all about. Who knew?
