It seems more and more tribes are considering raising and selling the crop that was once part of their cultural heritage. Of course, it's the Pomo of California are leading the way.

They take White Eyes money at their casinos and now want more at your local Grass Hut.

I'm more familiar with tribes of the northern plains.  Marijuana isn't part of their culture.  Some, a small number, think they ought to sell on the rez and make money from potheads.  Local potheads claim they won't use official pot because it a)won't be as good, and b) customer loyalty.  Still, some would like to sell to tourists and let them smoke their brains out while there.

Not many agree in the areas I run.
