Police say naked man standing in doorway is not breaking law, neighbors fed up

Residents in a Charlotte neighborhood say they are fed up with a neighbor they say stands at the front door of his home naked, but police say he's not doing anything illegal.

Neighbors say the man opens his door in the nude and even talks on his cell phone all in clear view of his neighbors. They're disgusted and fed up.

A spokeswoman for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department confirms that officers were called to the home on Friday.

"Since it is not a criminal incident, it was documented in the 'call for service' but there is no report," the spokeswoman told WBTV.

She added that officers confirmed with the magistrate that the incident did not rise to a level of a charge, since the man was on his own property.

Sounds like some neighbors need to pay this fellow a visit.

The law in S.C. is if you can be seen from public or other property, you're in trouble.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

I had that problem with a neighbor once.  If I was sitting on my roof with binoculars, I could see right into her second floor bedroom and bathroom, she never kept her curtains closed.
