There were two officers shot in Ferguson last night. Apparently they are both still alive but reports are unclear as to their condition this morning. Hopefully they are on a road to recovery.
Typical classy DUmmie response that needs to be preserved for the record before it is sent down the wormhole...

11. welcome to the 60s
Now we have two sets of truly pissed off groups of people
those who call Ferguson their home
and every single cop in this country
What will happen now, my guess, Ferguson will burn down and everyone will be dispersed.
In all honesty, I think the shooter was a plant
It is always a plant or a false flag op in your feeble minds...

2. They said it came from away from the protestors.
May be a crime of opportunity. Vigilantes. Who knows. I'm checking twitter to see what the people there are saying.

5. Vibes that they are okay.
It would have been better if they had not been shot at all, DUmbass

7. I was just thinking the other day, after reading some of the DOJ report,
that the people of Ferguson are very long-suffering people. To put up with what was in that report is just beyond what any community should have to bear. The courts and cops of Ferguson made it nearly impossible for any of the citizens to get ahead. The courts and cops of Ferguson treated the citizens of the town as merely ATMs they could abuse and exploit at will.
And yet, Mike Brown's death was the first murder of the year. ( I consider it murder, YMMV .)
I was thinking that the fact that Ferguson residents hadn't already been killing cops was a testament to their strength and character. What Ferguson PD and Court systems have done to that community is enough to drive anyone over the edge.
I worried that outsiders might read the report and become obsessed and outraged. Human beings - NORMAL human beings - have a visceral, immediate reaction to blatant injustice, exploitation and abuse - which the people of Ferguson have been enduring for some time.
Looks like somebody did just that. But their actions were cowardly and stupid.
I don't like the way some cops see no value in most human life, but I'll be damned if I'll be like that ( except when it comes to greedy sociopaths - they have zero value to me ) . I hope both cops are okay and that some healing can happen soon.

19. A testament to character that they held off on murder for as long as they did...?
Oktober has not been on the island long enough - as soon as this reply gets back to the authorities he will be scheduled for re-education
The gutter scraping part. We start with a deleted message:

13. ......
Two people were shot and this is your response?
Wow - I wonder what Katashi_itto had to say to get this reation from a longtime island resident?

You said it... You own it...
Katashi_itto (6,379 posts) We are supposed to be sympathetic?
This Dept systematically terrorized the people it was supposed to serve. Read the DOJ report. The Stasi had better community service.
Obviously this is to Katashi and not Sherman but response to deleted posts doesn't work.
I do have to have some admiration of Ocktober's response...

28. When a police force acts like the Stasi.....
I really meant what I said the first time - The Ferguson police force is like the Stasi

20. *cringe*
And you thought this opinion of yours was acceptable?
Huh, it is shared by a significant portion of the island residents, and Democrats in general. Why shouldn't be acceptable to Democrats?

29. Who benefits most from this act?
After the scathing DOJ report, the white establishment in Ferguson (and far too many other areas of the country) look bad.
You've got to wonder who would benefit most from the shooting of two police officers. To my way of thinking, it seems that the black community in Ferguson has started to gain some momentum in fixing, and perhaps ending an intolerable situation. Who, in that community would want to give the police and the bigots a chance to point fingers and say "See, We told you so." White vigilantes, on the other hand would have plenty of reason to have done something like this.
We may never know who did it. But you've got to wonder.
All Cyrano is missing is chicken wire and concrete blocks.
