I just got off the phone with Mary Ellen, Khash's mom...

He is dead.

His dad found his body on June 29th...

They hadn't been able to reach him for several days and normally they're in touch quite a lot...

So his dad went into his apartment, and he was lying on the floor...

They don't know how he died yet, as they are waiting for the autopsy report...

His mom told me to tell all of you who knew him and who love him that she would be glad to talk to you...

Just PM me and I will give you her cell number...This was her idea.


I cannot believe that I will never hear his voice again..

Or hear his infinite wisdom...

I am crying for my terrible loss...

He always encouraged me in my poetry and in any situation that I found myself in...

My dear friend is dead. And there is no help for it.


At least his pain, his suffering is over, and I thank god for that.

Come, let us grieve together...

I have no idea who this is.  I am sure this is very traumatic for his friends and family though.  RIP

I infer that Khash was ill.

I did some digging, seems he posted under khashka -- from what Ive read he was not part of the usual DUmmie crowd, which is why I know so little of him.

The scary thing is that actually speaks well of him - those that aren't readily seen here lack the insane qualities that make our favorite DUers fun. Still though, very sad news.

There are a handful of them who really care and are more apolitical.  Rare, but real.
