Seriously, though I can't tell you how much I love this state. My boys learned to hunt and fish here. You want to hunt elk, this is the place with the big racks! Turkeys, target practice every single day. I live surrounded by a creek that's an offshoot of the Umqua River. One of the prettiest rivers in the entire world. When I was a girl we'd cross over from I5 on to the Coast Highway on Hwy. 38. To drive down Highway 38 is to drive through a piece of Heaven. Even then I knew I wanted to live near the Umpqua. I live where the Umpqua, Smith, Willamette and McKenzie Rivers are just a stone's throw away. I can't get to Roseburg or Eugene (the 2 closest "big" towns) without crossing either the Willamette or Umpqua Rivers. You'd never know this is a conservative state because of Portland, Eugene and Salem.
And we've got so many shit heads from California moving here. It wasn't bad enough that they ****ed up their own state, now they have to **** up mine. One thing I have to say about the left is they're smart. They want to change an area to blue, they just have a bunch of them move there. Oregon is a conservative's dream but the only people moving here are ****ing socialists from CA who are too stupid to understand if they do the same shit here it will turn into the same cesspool they left.
