Yesterday, when the news broke of the slaying of 3 Chapel Hill students many Proglodytes immediately took to complaining that there was no media coverage or that the media only took note after social media created enough noise.
They were certain that the perceived lack of coverage was evidence that Muslim lives don't matter in the racist, bigoted hateful US and that the media was all but complicit in ginning-up the anti-Muslim furor that could lead to such a heinous act.
Well, here we are less than 24 hours since I saw the first threads on DU.
I scan the first page of the DU GD forum and what do I see?
Nary a word about the shooting.
The Kanye treads are still burning...
...but one would have to go looking for any mention of the Chapel Hill murders.
I believe in legal circles the term is "Consciousness of Guilt."

You idiots would be best served by just stopping at your weak, vain attempts at sweeping moral pronouncements.
First, nobody cares what the people who are so thin-skinned that they can't tolerate the feel of fluorescent lights on their skin have to say. All you people do is yap and whine. It's the source of all your power and hence it is your only effort. Nothing will ever make you happy or shut you up so why should we even bother? Its gotten to the point where it's really nothing more than background noise.
