diabeticman (2,439 posts) Wed Feb 11, 2015, 12:54 AMGot an interesting update with the Condo issues ( for those interested)It seems another condo owner ( this owner is in the second building.) The President and Secretary place some issues up for a vote and well this letter was sent to all owners of the condos.Basically she is tired of the two changing what "Common areas" are. She also believes that if we own our units we should have pets if we want. It is our responsibility to fix any damage a pet might do to the residence units.I thinking of writing her back thanking her for her letter and telling her about our saga with the Pres and Sec to see if this is common or not. Or should we not get into those details?
mackerel (2,900 posts) Wed Feb 11, 2015, 01:04 AM1. Do it! The more people you share with the more you'll find havea problem with these two. The pet thing is stupid. You own your own condo if you sell the Realtor will tell you to fix any damage prior to showing the place. I can see no pets allowed in common areas but your own abode is owned by you not those two old biddies. You need to start networking there and finding out how others feel. How many condos are there? I find it hard to believe they are all following the rules? I think there are more pet owners than non-pet owners in the U.S. It's a multi-billion dollar industry here. That letter your wife wrote, she needs to circulate it to the whole HOA.
diabeticman (2,439 posts) Wed Feb 11, 2015, 01:14 AM2. She was going to send it but then it was suggested to her not to do it ( not on this board) until wespoke with another lawyer.

diabeticman (2,439 posts) Wed Feb 11, 2015, 02:37 AM8. After the first one we are looking for a better lawyer.
And still 0 pretend cats...
Better call Saul.
There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site
A work around to the problem would be to get a therapy cat like the one LFR is dating.
Amber had to rub tuna on her pooter to get the cat to give her some 'therapy'.
You just made me throw up in my mouth a little....
