They love when Obama gives them a valid jumping- point to spread hatred against Christians. A few points:
1. As others have said, Hitler's campaigns of horrific genocide, as well as those in the Crusades, go against Christ's call to love your enemies, whereas ISIS's barbaric actions tie in quite nicely with the "Prophet" Mohammad's teachings in the Koran.
2. Hitler may have publicly professed Christianity, but he was known to be greatly interested in mysticism and the occult.
3. Hitler's public speeches may have praised Christianity, but his private, behind- closed- doors statements often revealed just the opposite view. On one occasion, he told a high- ranking official that it was "Not opportune" for the Nazis to come into an open struggle against the churches, clarifying that "The best thing to do is to let Christianity die a natural death." He also said, regarding clergy, "They will betray their God to us. They will betray everything for their miserable little jobs and incomes." Another real gem was when a group of church leaders approached Hitler to criticize his brutal policies. Hitler's furious response to these criticisms sounds like something a DUmmy would write: "Christianity will disappear in Germany just as it has disappeared in Russia. Germany existed long before the birth of Christianity, and it will continue to exist long after Christianity has died out. We must get used to the teachings of blood and race." Do those sound like the sorts of things that a "Right- wing fundy" of the sort the DUmmies have nightmares about would say?
