Here's the specific things that Hillary's done to earn my vote:

Please share your story, below.

3. Because she has far, far more experience in foreign affairs than any of the prospective Democratic candidates. Oh ... was not meant to be taken seriously ... I was supposed to post some snarky, witty response than Rec the thread and high five all the other snarky witty replies. Right?

Everything Hillary touched in the State Department turned to shit.

So... besides **** up the world stage so much that only John ****ing Kerry (he was in Vietnam) could do worse- what else has she done?

24. That was not the question I was responding to; but, ...

maybe not the biggest ... but certainly A VERY IMPORTANT consideration.

Ironically, by screwing up an (unimportant) foreign policy decision, the economic-first candidate could help address what you seem to think is the ONLY issue ... (just like with WWII) it'll move a bunch of folks out of poverty and juice up the middleclass ... it could, also, kill off a bunch of young men/women who are just about to/just recently enter(ed) the workforce, so there would be a labor shortage (less competition for jobs), meaning raising wages.

So your right screw foreign policy!

23. What about defending the interests of women Bill diddled?

She stood beside her cheating husband and called the women he cheated with liars and covered up his sexual harassment of other women.

And what about children?

She defended a child rapist with the "she's a little slutty, a little nutty" defense, a virtual assault against the 12-year-old victim, later laughing that she had saved the child rapist from prison.

Hillary is no warrior for women and children. It's a myth perpetrated by people too lazy to do the research.

Hillary isn't my top choice, or even in my top 5, but if came down to being between her and Cruz, Rand Paul, Jeb, or anyone else on the GOP Clown Car Express, I would have to hold my nose and vote for Hillary.

I certainly hope that is the explanation. Before Roe women bled to death on bathroom floors after trying to self abort with knitting needles. Or they were victims of botched back alley abortions done under unsafe conditions. And they bled to death. This is an "old standby" in your opinion?

Unbelievable. I never dreamed I'd see this attitude on DU.

So here is what Hill needs to do to win. Destroy every single Dem candidate that might even have a chance now- then about August 2016 finally come out of the closet and admit that she is gay and has been in a long term relationship to what's her name. She can cry on Oprah that her marrage to Bill was always a shame but she had lied to herself for all these years... but now she must be honest.

I'm surprised that none of the black congressional caucus are running for  higher office.
And after Barry done broke the glass ceiling for them too.

seriously, why isn't the black muslim brotherhood terrorist congressman running? He would be such a shoo-in.

I so hope you guys make her your nominee! We could run a wet noodle against her and win. No one, and I mean no one likes her. She has the personality of rubbing a brillo pad on a baby's ass! Well, unless you can convince the fake Indian to run or Bernie Sanders.

I read it a different way.
If I didn't know better I would have thought that the OP was instigating thoughtful discussion.
I read the OP as saying that Hitlery doesn't have to do anything to earn Manny's vote.
The mere fact that she has lib chops is enough for Manny.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Even though, in the PRNY, there's a lot of idiots that are "Ready for Hillary," there's also a lot of Dens who can't stand her--and will vote against her.  That, coupled with all of the moderates that don't want to get blamed for "voting in a historical fashion" again, will make this one interesting to watch.

Between hitlery and fouxahauntis you would think anyone could beat either.

Then look at our line-up.

More depressing than 2008.

But, the electorate seemed to be tired of a Republican in the White House.  Based on the 2014 elections, and the fact that in the first special election of this Congress, any Republican is up on any Democrat by double-digits (NY-11, Michael Grimm, a Republican, was convicted of tax fraud, IIRC), and whoever the Dem nominee is, they are going to have to defend the policies of the last eight years; the conclusion is that you or I could run and win.

Hillary has managed to set the Middle East on fire during her reign of incompetence as SoS. Only a leftist could fail so miserably and be up for a promotion because only leftists are that stupid to promote her.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

I disagree completely.  Scott Walker is an excellent candidate, who has shown he can win time and time again in WI.

Actually, we have a few excellent candidates. People are so pissed I don't even think a RINO can win because they're too much like the government we're trying to get out of. Regardless what Jeb says he cannot win the nomination without the base. It's simply impossible. There aren't enough moderates so his only option would be to run third party or change parties. Our biggest problem is the single issue crowd who cannot see there's no such thing as 100%. They often get our best candidates eliminated because they can't get past the fact that X,Y,Z candidate agrees with 99.999% of what they believe and that they'd be a great candidate imminently qualified to start moving the country to a constitutional republic. They're so damn stubborn, they stomp their feet like a 4 year old who can't get a candy bar at the grocery store until the only candidate left standing is the RINO. See any thread at Free Republic during primary season for an example.

Take Scott Walker. He's vehemently against 0bama's executive orders and is part of a lawsuit to nullify them (it won't matter to the boy king but someone has to take a stand). The main reason he's against them is because they're against the law. Thus, if the law says illegals must be deported he will follow the law. He believes that the first thing that needs to happen is closing the border and believes it should be easier for LEGAL immigrants to get here and become citizens. He has also moved more to the right on his views in the past few months. Many people accuse him of flip-flopping. And he is vague about immigration policy but says he'll give a speech about it during the campaign season should he decide to run.

However, WI is not a hot bed of illegal immigration and he's not on the border to see how destructive it is. It's an issue he needs more information and education about. He's obviously willing to do that. IF after becoming better educated he continues to be vague or supportive of a path to citizenship for illegals (he's even vague about that) then we can revisit his stance. But there are people who just can't get past earlier, less informed statements that he's made instead of any change of policy he's made from becoming better informed. I'd rather have someone be vague if they don't know enough about an issue he's not adequately informed on than have him make definitive statements now and have to explain away his 180 degree change.
