1) When it is something they themselves are guilty of or
2) They know it poses a threat to one of their narratives.
So, here we are on the cusp of the Proglodyte's triumph for "marriage equality" when this crops up and shows that the terms of the debate are not settled.
Their reflex answer will be to claim we cannot allow incestuous relationships due to the threat of abnormalities arising from inbreeding.
Okay, so does that mean we have the legal right to legislate in favor of the health of a child before it is born over the objections of the mother?
There are no easy outs for them in this one.
