7. My uncle also. He was the top Sgt. of his outfit. Many of his men had approached him asking if they could just shoot any of the German soldiers they'd captured. He explained to them that they don't defeat Nazis by becoming Nazis, that the American GIs were among the good guys in that war and that it would terrify the Jewish inmates if they did start shooting Germans. What he did NOT tell them was that it was all he could do to not put HIS Thompson on single fire and shoot every German he saw.
 

Uh... I am betting that this little speach didn't happen.

10. Wow. I have seen documentary footage of camp liberation, and it was harrowing
and horrifying. I don't know who filmed it though.

Given that most of the DUmp has just spent a week excusing,apologizing for and hoping to ignore a religion and a culture that has avowed the extermination of the Jews it would seem you are standing in the midst of them.

Obama Flubs Concentration Camp Claim

Now obviously something had really affected him deeply but at that time there just weren’t the kinds of facilities to help somebody work through that kind of pain."

After several conservative bloggers and Fox News Channel pointed out that the Auchwitz concentration camp was liberated by Soviet soldiers, not Americans, Obama’s campaign clarified the statement.
