It's time to take inventory.


Today is the first day of complete Republican control of the House and Senate. Mitch McConnell is reported as saying that the new Republican majority may be the reason our economy is doing so well.

We should note that gasoline prices are under $2.00 per gallon in some place of the country. Unemployment rate has been going down for some time. It now sits at about 5.8%. The deficit, still very large, has been shrinking for some time. As a percent of GDP, it is very low. The Social Security system is stable and consumer confidence is high.

Naturally, if anything goes wrong, it will be blamed on Barack Obama. But it is the GOP that is in control. We should look back to this date on election day, 2016.

That stuff happening is in spite of Obama and what he does asshole.

If you look at a timeline of events, the economy never really made any improvement until republicans took the House from Nancy and her goons. Government in gridlock is the best way to do it.

Oil prices have collapsed globally. The GDP numbers include $$$ from Obamacare spending and the TRADE deficit is falling as a result not the budget deficit, you nitwit.

You know, even though he has some ardent supporters for years here, I never paid much attention to kentuck, the bluegrass primitive, until just before the selection of the Top DUmmies for last year.

This guy, like the mineral-headed Minnesota Moses, must think of himself as some sort of wise old guru to the primitives.

An illusion, China is in a slowdown trying to change gears if you're a Bull or catching some long-delayed payback for out-of-control expansion and currency manipulation if you're a Bear, and the rest of the developed world is either in recession or teetering on the brink.  It's not hard to look healthy when everyone else is sicker.
