Deadly attack on office of French magazine Charlie Hebdo

Its latest tweet was a cartoon of the Islamic State militant group leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

I wonder who could have done this? The Mormons?

Quote

33. Charlie Hebdo was targeted for exercising its right to freedom of speech, journalist Douglas Murray tells the BBC. "I think that a lot about our future freedom of speech depends on whether or not people think that Charlie Hebdo brought this on itself or realise that the people who carried out this attack are solely to blame and must be the subject of vilification from everybody, from all faiths in all of our societies."

Exactly right. IF the leftists across the world continue to blame everything except Islam for the violence we will be overrun in time by those who shout Islam.

23. France and Britain seem to create a lot of jihadis.

Britain had a policy of giving asylum to muslim fundies and letting them stir up trouble overseas.

Of course both France and Britain led the way in toppling Gadaffi which took the lid off North Africa and allowed a weapons and fighter pipeline to spread right over to Syria.

They then supported the Syrian rebels which morphed into ISIS, which we then had to bomb. Which then promised retaliation.

Of course what's needed now is to lock down Europe in a police state and send more troops to the Middle East in a permanent war
.

Somehow I am sure this is all Bush's fault...

It was an assassination.....very well planned and trained for. Of course American news is making it all about America as usual.

And blaming the newspaper? What the hell ever happened to freedom of speech?

Where is Fred to comment on this?

58. Islam has enough track record over some 1700 years to NOT be called the religion of peace.

Millions upon millions have been massacred, brutalized, raped and forcibly converted.

Thousands of terrorist bombings, shootings, killings From attack at LAX, 9/11, 7/11, Denmark, Cyprus, Kosovo, Chechnya, Dagestan, India (Kashmir and other states), Afghanistan, Xin Jiang, Myanmar, Thailand, Bali, Mali, Nigeria, Tanzania, Sudan, Kenya and the list goes on and on.

What is funny is that people who demand minority rights and respects treat the minorities in Muslim states like shit. How are minorities treated in UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia or Pakistan? In Pakistan, minorities are constantly under threat of murder or being charged with stupid, medieval blasphemy laws and resulting in loss of life and property.

Granted that 1.7 billion Muslims are not all like that. However, it is a job for the silent majority to calm the crazies amongst them which rarely happens. Surely a bunch of people knew this attack was going to happen and who was going to carry it out - yet, no one tipped off the authorities.

You can go to the root of the problem and stop supporting and funding the extremists...or we can continue to support them with one hand and get attacked by them on the other. It's a self-feeding conflict. Do we want to be in a police state and permanent war or do we want to get to the root of why this is happening more and more?

Let's see... Barry supported the overthrow of Gadaffi and Assad... is it Barry's fault?

Since its a terrorist attack, the security forces might be especially brutal in extracting information which can only hurt any peace or integration. By continuing to silence those who mock the Prophet, Muslims are enforcing their own laws
.

Here is the problem in a nutshell. You ****ing idiots refuse to see the problem for what it really is. You call it anything but what it really is and that ties our hands in actually dealing with the rel problem. See this next post:

Been watching Hayden bullshitting on Newsmax (Hayworth's program, who was also busily blowjobbing Christie before he go onto the Paris attack).

Hayden was of course using at a vehicle to justify and expand all the activities the NSA had ever done pre-Snowden and ask for more power, the problem with his argument is that the "We all share the same values, just trust us," falls apart because the senior intelligence community in the US has a long and sustained track record of lying their asses off to anyone who is supposed to be holding them accountable, so no, Mikey, they don't.

Hayden also threw in a dig at the French about how much better the US is at assimilation of its Muslim minority, however he conveniently failed to mention that proportion of real ethnic Muslims in the US is a much smaller slice of the population than it is in France or even the UK.

The difference here is that there is nothing in Christian doctrine that advocates killing, rape and force conversion to Christianity. The same cannot be said of Islam. The crusades and the inquisition was not condoned by the teachings of Jesus Christ so those actions shouldn't be laid at the feet of Christianity. However, the Mohammedan's actions can be attributed directly to their unholy book. They are acting within the teachings of their prophet.

There's of course no justification for either, but how many abortion profiteers have been murdered, as compared with victims of terrorism?

Like one every 14, 15 years, something like that?

But the primitives make it sound as if abortion profiteers are gunned down all the time, even more than convenience store clerks.

There's no comparison.
