What's for Dinner, Sat., Jan. 3, 2014
Some kind of chicken stew or soup. I just picked up some thighs for flavor and have plenty of chicken breast in the freezer.
I'm thrilled to be back online in record time: last night my 2 TB hard drive failed! But I'm back up and running within 12 hours; pretty damn good, yes!?
So now I have a new 3 TB hard drive and instead of Windows 7, Windows 8.1.
Cold and snowy here, as I understand it is around the country. Kitty cat curled up next to me. Life is good!

We are going out. DH is insisting that he must have fish tacos or he will die.
So…. out we will go because I do not cook fish.

3. Whole chicken legs
I pulled a couple out of the freezer, but still not sure what to make of them. Maybe I'll just do a homemade shake n' bake. I do have a craving for beans, so I'll have pintos (and raw onion and cilantro) as a side. Also, some steamed broccoli w/ lemon.

10. I made extra borlottis
when I made chili the other day. I know, I was supposed to use kidney beans, but I don't like them and I love borlottis, also known as cranberry beans. The strain I bought looks like a kidney bean and doesn't have the white coloring after cooked from the dried state.
If NJCher made it, I'm sure it was great.
