14. Bad examples. Guiliani was NOT a popular choice for many consevatives, nor was he the Republican
presidential nominee when that cover went out.
And American Conservative magazine is a paleo-conservative publication -- they HATE the Iraq war and the Neocons because they are old-school isolationists.
None of your examples are the least bit equivolant to the New Yorker cover -- unless the New Yorker publishers are determined to undermine Obama.

He's not my perfect example of a conservative, but I would have voted for Guiliani hands DOWN over McCain. He has a lot of success as an executive...you know, what a President is.

....and Guiliani didn't HAVE to use 9/11. It happened in his city and was connected to him due to him being the Mayor. He didn't ask for the shit, but he damn sure HANDLED the shit. You know, something that fool Nagin, D-La couldn't do. I wouldn't say 9/11 defines Guiliani, because he had such a legacy of governing a city, but I will say it's one feather in his hat. The man knows how to run a city.....that city being the most populous in the country. HE is SOLELY responsible for the decrease in violent crimes in NYC.
