What bothers me is the new husbands attitude.   

Could he be hiding things from his new wife?

Male leaves first wife for a girl friend,    His wife divorces him with the provision he keep her and kids on HIS insurance until the kids turn 26 and until she remarries.

He remarries and finds he cannot put her on his insurance because he has to pay for first wife and kids.  I know of no insurance Co. that will insure more then one family, darn if this was so a man could insure 4 ex wives  under the family plan.

Time for his new wife to do a wee bit of snooping, find his divorce decree and find out exactly what his obligations to his EX and kids are.

Then find out if he is actually divorced from his EX.  Strange things do happen in life.

Under the law, I'm sure he can insure ALL his children regardless of how many moms are involved.

But you do pose an interesting problem for Obamacare regarding the ex-wife, if she does not work.  According to a lot of insurance companies, they are not obligated to insure the spouse if she has access to medical coverage through her own employer.

Her new husband is a penny-pinching Republican and I can believe he just doesn't want to pay the additional premium to cover her and her kid. But before I start pushing, would love to have some facts.

A lot of companies are dumping insurance for spouses.  The increased costs of Obamacare is what's causing it and the husband has nothing to do with that decision.

There is an old saying about don't kick a man when he's down.....Obamacare is slated to come into effect a little at a time. The whole thing seems to designed to not only knock the healthcare system down but to kick it again and again before it can get up.

There was 2,700 pages of this shitty bill and another 27,000 pages written to explain, control, fund, regulate, whatever....how many pages have we covered thus far....a few at best. We're just now finding out what all is in it....and there's more to come.
