If he is skilled enough to even attempt a shot at a deer at 824 yards why is he asking for help?
Either a mole or a typical DUmp liar.

Because he didn't.  I can count on one hand the number of open spaces that are 1/2 mile around here.  Few people here hunt with rifles--it's all shotgun/deer slugs.

Even when I was living in NM/CO/ID/WY, there was enough sagebrush, hills, rocks, etc., that you'd be lucky to SPOT one 1/2 mile out (and how the **** would he have know it was EXACTLY 824 yards?) let alone put it down, especially if it's moving.

Yup. At night, during a snowstorm, shooting weak hand.
And he used iron sights. At just a half-mile, popping a deer with a scope would be unsporting.

I've done my fair share of hunting across a variety of terrains and with one exception I've never seen a critter at more than about 800yards.

The exception was a camel - and that sucker was on the far side of a salt pan - and a solid 1200yards off.

No. I didn't take the shot and doubt that even should I have hit it , that I'd have killed it cleanly.

It's a good thing you didn't kill the Camel. You don't want to get the muslims mad at us.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

Help keep America beautiful...deface a liberal.

We found another herd later that trip that were much closer.... Gotta make sure there's plenty of "virgins" heading up to paradise to keep pace with the splodeydope influx.

I refrained from going there. I just knew it would come out sooner or later.

Hey now.
I'm not the one that started talking about camels.  :-)
