So, let me see if I get this straight...

Pres. Obama purposely set up the sequester because he wanted these cuts even though he knows they will potentially devastate the economy he's spent the last four years trying to fix ... right? That's the line now? He's willing the sabotage his entire second term, potentially sinking his presidency and legacy, over mega-cuts? Is that right? This is the story some are trying to sell now?

What a bunch of bullshit. First of all 0bama hasn't been trying to fix the economy the last 4 years, he and his policies have brought us this crappy economy. Now what is happening they are talking about these fake cuts and are going to blame all of 0bama's failures on the repukes because of these "mega" cuts.

The fact that people believe this shit about these cuts is amazing to me.
Every one of us got at least a 2% budget cut this year and some much more, and these were actual cuts as in we see 2% less than we saw in our checks last year. Under these so called cuts no one in the government is going to be spending less or having less than they had on Thursday.

5. Was the sequester an executive order or something?

Congress had to pass this first to get his signature. Now congress is failing to fix their own mistake. That's not Obama's fault.

It wouldn't have become law without his signature. In fact the Senate won't even bother to send him anything he doesn't support so he is just as much to blame as anyone.

If you fools think for a second that he didn't want this then you are even dumber than I thought you were.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

No, retard, you missed.
"We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and then bid the geldings to be fruitful."

C.S. Lewis

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

It amazes me how just a few short years changes things.

Back when W was president and the dems controlled both houses of congress every single thing was W's fault. Now that the Reps control just one side of congress nothing is Zero their Hero's fault.

For the sake of argument I'll say maybe obumbles was trying to fix the economy... but like the proverbial poor marksmen he keeps missing the target!!! You can't regulate and tax your way out of a recession. You cannot demonize companies as fat cats and threaten to raise their taxes and expect said companies to expand hiring. You cannot pass a new complicated health care law and expect companies to hire more employees. You cannot expand government by approx 5 percent of GDP and expect the economy to expand. While I am thinking about it dummie... don't give me the tired old argument that Bush kept the war spending off the books. He couldn't. Do you idiots think that he could bury it in his little black book?

There is a reason that Harry Reid won't pass a budget. Because as long as there are CR's, then the baseline spending of the last budget, the one that included the 800 plus billion stimulus, will be included. Spin it all you want, dummies. Fact is spending is 1 trillion over revenues. It wasn't that way when he took office.
Living in the Dummies minds rent free since 2009!

It makes me crazy that baseline budgeting is NEVER discussed.  I know it is complicated, but geez if you explained it in relatable terms, most morons would understand it.  If I have to budget $7K to replace my roof this year, is that SAME $7K included in my budget next year? Of course not.  But then again, most low-information voters don't even understand that "government money" comes from taxpayers.  ARGH!

Yes, Drunken Irishman, you're a little slow on the uptake and not exactly right but you're starting to catch on.  Just remember that any action taken by Barack Hussein O'Saboteur is done with the intent to destroy the United States and leave him and his buddies in charge of whatever's left of it after it comes crashing down.

We will make America strong again. We will make America proud again. We will make America safe again. And we will make America great again.

The Sequester was a dare. plain & simple.

Obama laid out an inconsequential cut in government spending to bully the Republicans into doing what he wants. Surprisingly, the Republicans called his bluff, and magically the United States hasn't collapsed overnight.

So now Obama needs to change the narrative, and tie anything that goes wrong over the next few months to it. If nothing goes wrong at all, Obama will then take credit as the mastermind behind the sequester, and explain how 'The government should tighten its belt the way citizens have needed to, because whats fair is fair."

Wow, these idiots will make up any excuse not to blame Dear Leader.  He signs it into law, but it's not his fault.  Then tell me primitives, just how stupid is he to sign something into law he didn't want?  How stupid are you to believe he signed it not wanting it?  Basically, just how stupid are you?  My only regret is I'd love to be saying this to you in person where the back of my hand could slap your face as I'm saying it.

Between this thread and the one yesterday about how only Dems are suffering from the economy, I'm finding the recent pain of the primitives to be most enjoyable.
