6. BTW, I live in rural CT...farm country.
There are three "local" gas stations nearby. Their price-per-gallon varies by 10-20 cents on any given day. The closest to us is on the nearby state road connecting to the interstate into Hartford...$4.10. Further on up the road, just before the interstate, it's $4.15. But if I drive in the other direction, toward the low-rent area of Willimantic, gas is 20-30 cents cheaper.
Can you say "gouging?"

Oh, but gasoline prices shouldn't bother the oblate spheroid anyway.
San Diego has mass transit.
And besides, she really doesn't go to all these places to cover "news stories;" she lays on the couch all day, munching on handfuls of chocolate bonbons as if popcorn, listening to her superduper police scanner, and making up stories from that.
