Actually, I think this is exactly what the libs intended.  That's why for larger businesses they made the penalty crumbs compared to what it actually cost a business to provide insurance.  What they want to happen is more people to be dependent on the government, and this is what will happen.

Yes, it is a path to single-payor Gubmint insurance, because the ACA is actually impossible to successfully implement and run as passed.  When it turns out next year that medical coverage has not improved but prices have skyrocketed, the mob will be clamoring for an even-more-Government-run replacement.

They know businesses are going to do this, they've known all along. What really pisses them off are the businesses that publicly state the reason, because it makes Teh Messiah look bad.

Who do you think is going to absorb all those "droves" of newly unemployed, dumbass? The businesses willing to suck up the financial losses aren't going to have enough positions to hire them all, or even a significant number. They're not gong anywhere.

Back in the summer before the election, I noticed a shift.  The dems knew Obamacare was going to be hung around their necks, so they embraced it.  Rah-rahed it up, said it was the greatest thing evah.  If some dopey people made the impression on other dopey people, that it was freeeeeee health care, compliments of obama's stash, they weren't corrected.
