The following are states that require photo ID for all voters, however a provisional ballot is not granted if a voter does not bring a photo ID to the polls in these states.

    * Alaska
    * Alabama - Passed a stricter law in 2011, but it does not take effect until 2014, pending DOJ approval.[3]
    * Arizona
    * Arkansas
    * Connecticut
    * Colorado
    * Delaware
    * Kansas
    * Kentucky
    * Missouri
    * Montana
    * New Mexico
    * North Dakota
    * Ohio
    * Rhode Island
    * South Carolina - Passed a stricter law in 2011, but it was rejected by the DOJ on December 23, 2011[4]
    * Texas - Passed a stricter law in 2011. Set to go into effect January 1, 2012, pending DOJ approval.[5]
    * Tennessee - Passed a stricter law in 2011, goes into effect January 1, 2012
    * Virginia
    * Washington
    * Wisconsin

There is a big deal over Texas because Obama will need the illegal immigrant vote to get re-elected. I wouldn't be surprised if they bus people over from Mexico just to vote.

Last year, or the year before (whenever we voted for Perry last)  I couldn't find my voters registration card to vote, I showed the polling place my DL and I could vote.  Seriously, it makes it so much easier.

Part of the problem is they can't ask for ID now. Hell I used my business card one year when I forgot my wallet.

I more often then not don't take my voter registration card to the polling place. My DL and a check of the voter registration rolls are good enough to get a ballot.

like I said I have to show an ID to get a ballot and theses folks know me. The voting place is a Baptist church building  :p
