I keep forgetting why capitalism is superior.

Socialism involves less freedom.  Since the government pays for health care, for example, they dictate what you eat, what activities you can or cannot do, etc.
Socialism provides zero incentive to excel, innovate, or grow productivity.
Socialism is financially unsustainable (i.e. LOOK WHAT IT'S DONE TO EUROPE AND GREECE YOU MORON).
Socialism ALWAYS creates economic inefficiencies (misallocation of resources, misallocation of labor, poor planning decisions, etc.).

Socialism is spending $4 billion up front and $40 million a year to build and maintain a transit system that generates $100,000 of annual revenue because so few use it.
Socialism is taking $200,000 from taxpayers and creating a temporary job that pays $30,000.
Socialism is taking an excellent idea and killing it with beauracracy.
Socialism is taking an excellent employee and telling him that he can only make X amount of money per year no matter how hard he works.
Socialism is taking drug companies or energy companies and taxing them to death, resulting in no medical or energy innovation.
Socialism is providing mediocre medical care with long waiting lines, and because government pays for it (via taxpayers), the government dictates how people live.

It just doesn't !@#$ing work.
