Khadafi posed NO threat to the US or our interests. Our bombing of their country is illegal.
You know, sir, in what is an unusual quirk for me, I agree.
I've always been the first person to insist that liberating the oppressed is America's destiny, having been heavily influenced at an impressionable age (sort of; they were a little before my time) by Henry R. Luce and John Kennedy.
".....to bear any burden, to pay any price, so that others may enjoying the blessings of freedom and liberty....."
One of those Kennedy quotes the primitives seem to never remember.
Essentially, it is our job to liberate the oppressed.
But Libya's something else, for three reasons. It's a small country, pretty inconsequential on the world stage, pretty inconsequential even among its neighbors. It's true the madman Khadaffi has oppressed, but on a scale laughably trivial when compared with Cuba or North Korea or Red China or Vietnam or Rhodesia or Iran or any of these other socialist paradises for which the primitives long.
And number three, 0bama cannot help but botch up the mess.
So yes, I agree. Nothing good will come out of this.
