I have an mp3 dinosaur. It only has 64 Meg on Ram but is expandable to 512 ? You want it ??

Thanks for your kind offer, Rob, but I really don't have a use for it. I don't listen to music unless I'm at home (and that damned TV is turned off - Mrs. E LOVES her freakin' TV  :banghead: ) or in the car.

We used to bowl with a couple who wore their i-Pods while bowling. And even once in a while I see some yahoo yapping on a cell phone while bowling.

Un-freaking-believable.  :mental:

My Zune contains the following:

OAR
3 Doors Down
CCR
Led Zeppelin
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Trans-Siberian Orchestra
a couple movie soundtracks
John Michael Montgomery
Clay Walker
George Strait
Johnny Cash
Patsy Cline
Kenny Chesney (only 3 of his more romantic songs... I was in a romantic mood the day I bought those songs. LOL )
Michael Buble
Dope
Godsmack
Garbage
Gavin Rossdale
Soul Asylum
Allison Krauss and Union Station
Bob Carlisle
Heartland
Weezer
Dwight Yoakam

The one current pop music guilty pleasure on my Zune right now is Rihanna.  "Disturbia" is an ADDICTING song and video.

And for the video portion of my 80 GB Zune:

6 episodes of Ghost Hunters  :-)

Try "Crazy Game of Poker," "This Town" and "What is Mine."  Those are my personal favorites, aside from "Shattered."

I mostly listen to audio books on my mp3 player and then mostly positive thinking sort of stuff like the last one I got was Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People and it was really good.  Right now listening to The Master Key System which is an amazing book.  Hard to believe it was first written about 1919 or so.

My music is mostly Classical, Opera, and New Age like Cusco.

Alas, I have no IPod

I think I have one of these in my storage room somewheres

I got one of those for my birthday one year maybe when I was 10 or 11.  Even then I didn't understand the point of 8-tracks and especially hated when a song faded out on one track to be faded in on the next but my inborn snobbishness aside I played the hell out of it.  I think I got Styx The Grand Illusion and the Gordon Lightfoot with the Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald and Race Among the Ruins for that same birthday.

Ditto.

And I don't have an i-Pod or any other kind of digital portable device.
So How do you listen to your music? Break out the old 78 player and crank the Perry Como? :-)

I did get rid of my 8-track tapes about 3 years ago. I still have about 4 boxes of LPs in the basement getting moldy.

The 2000 Accord has a cassette player, and the 2004 Toyota mini-van has a CD player.

I've got a few hundred CDs. And I buy a few here and there.

CDs ain't dead yet. And when they die, I'll hang onto the bastards till the gummint comes and takes 'em away.
