Obnoxious celebrities in D.C.

January 22, 2009 --

THE boldfaces were not always on their best behavior before and after Barack Obama's presidential inauguration. Jessica Alba called Bill O'Reilly "kind of an a - - hole" at Sunday night's "Declare Yourself" party. Then, on Monday, during the sardine-packed Huffington Post ball, MSNBC's Chris Matthews was "complaining in disbelief" because he had to wait on line, while "Ed Harris patiently waited on the same line without complaining," said a source.

At the same party, Sharon Stone threw a fit when she found out D.L. Hughley was replacing Larry King during a live CNN segment in which she was supposed to take part. "Sharon was barking out questions about where Larry King was," said our spy. When she was told Hughley was doing the interview, "Sharon turned cold, snapped, 'I'm not doing this,' and went to the VIP room. D.L. did the party coverage on his own."

On inauguration night, Halle Berry was spotted on her way to the Western Ball, "looking lost and confused in the crowd," according to our witness. "She stepped onto the escalator and the long train of her dress got caught, causing a scene of panic."

The source said Berry was "frantically screaming" and "security had to hit the emergency brake." The distressed beauty eventually yanked her dress out of the escalator and went to the party.

Earlier that day, while the entire city seemed to be packed into the National Mall, Usher and his wife, Tameka Foster, were at Barneys in Georgetown. Our source said, "The [shopping] mall was practically empty, and a young girl went up and asked Usher for a photo. His bodyguard very meanly refused, and Tameka laughed in the girl's face. After they left, the little girl was crying."

His rep said: "Usher took as many photos as possible while in DC. He was there to witness a great moment in history. It's absurd that people would try to ruin it."

Ruin it for HIM?  :lmao: He's a grown up--he'll get over it...but he taught that young lady a valuable lesson about getting to wrapped up in what is nothing more then a man with some media exposure and money..kinda like... :uhsure:

If this doesn't exemplify how these retards would act if they got something akin to communism brewed up where they were the vaunted ones, I don't know what does. A bunch of vacuous, empty, self-absorbed asswipes. Anymore I think being able to play a good part means having to be a shell of a person--easier to step into character when you have none of your own.

It's amazing, some young person respects you, looks up to you and admires your work enough to want to have a picture with you and you laugh in her face.   :loser:

Our children's hospital was doing a benefit for the oncology department that was a golf outing.   The main celebrity was Mario Lemieux and he was very gracious to all the kids.   Some of the other celebrities, though were total assholes.  The event raised around $1 million.    When the chief oncologist heard that some of the celebrities were less than respectful to some of the children he was livid.  He told the sponsor of the event "This will never, ever happen again.  I don't care if your event raises $100 million.  Those athletes should be begging for autographs and the right to be around those kids.  The smallest and weakest of those children has more strength of character than all those celebrities put together".

I have heard of the same problem for some people who work for Make a Wish.  They really try to discourage the kids from asking to meet certain celebrities because they have been assholes in the past.   I can't even imagine that.   A dying child thinks so much of you that their wish of a lifetime is to spend some time with you and you act like an ass.

All the celebrities care about are themselves.

If you really wanna see a self-aggrandizing video of celebrities, check the "Pledge" video. (and then go to Iowahawk's website for teh funny on it.

I agree with the chief oncologist. But the hospital administrator will want them back.
