I flew to LA, then on to JFK in NY City, flew from there to Boston where I rented a cheap car and drove 80 miles an hour to get to Manchester in time for the Edward's speech and party there at about 6 pm.
Really? 18 hours? The time change alone (during Standard Time) between Hawaii and the East Coast alone is 5 hours.
5-6 hours (closer to 6) from Kona-LAX.
5 hours from LAX-JFK.
1 hour from JFK-BOS.
60-90 min drive to Manchester (if the traffic doesn't suck).
So we're already at 18 hours. WITH NO LAYOVERS OR DELAYS. And as anyone who has ever flown on the Eastern seaboard at anytime after, oh, say, 7 am can tell you, if there's a cloud anywhere, count on at least two-hour delays everywhere.
Plus, there's this little tidbit. While we in NH are regarded and slow and backwards folks for New England types, we do have these things called airports. As a matter of fact, Manchester is a rather popular one for a regional, being called Boston-Manchester Regional Airport. Hell, we even have cars here! And car rental agencies, even!
Finally, why would any idiot with an IQ above room temperature not know these things? Does this person not refer to the many travel sites which would have told him this? Even flying into "Cow Hampshire" would/should have only taken TWO stops, maximum--one in either LA or San Francisco (depending on if you're flying United or American) and an intermediary stop in another "hub" such as Chicago or Philly.
Play the waterworks all you like, but I'm calling...
