So I've decided to use my skills for good

I'm a 30-year culinary professional, who's worked in some of the most notable kitchens in New York City.

A couple of days ago I was having a little crisis of "how can I actually help this horrible, horrible world?" and I realized…

What I realized, and with no offense meant to any of you who do the same thing, who make food for people who need it…this is my profession, and to be painfully honest in my 2 hour shift I can probably do the work of 2 or 3 unskilled volunteers, if not more. I'm not trying to upstage, I'm donating my skills as much as my time. It's like Lewis Hamilton driving an ambulance.

Why did you have to brag about this on the DUmp off all places. My Grandma used to say, if you want to do something for somebody do it because you want to. Don't do it if you want anything in return.
