This could be the year that the myth of gun rights as a third rail is exploded once and for all.

RIP NRA.

Support for a ban on assault weapons is down to the lowest it has ever been. You can not even get majority support for it in your own crooked party.

Gun sales continue to break records or come very close to it. The nra has more members now than it has ever had.
