If she knows most of Barry's secrets, when did she know? Why didn't she use that information in '08? Also, the real power 'behind the throne' is Valerie Jarrett, and she hates the Clintons. She and Barry want someone who they can control. They've had the Democrat Party since 2008, and they very well do not want to hand control back to the same people that they successfully wrested the party from back then. Ol' Slow Joe Biden fills the bill perfectly. Easily controlled, with the added bonus of probably only wanting one term, with Lizzie Borden Warren, Fauxahontas herself, warming up in the bullpen (as VP) to follow him.
With Biden, I don't think its a matter of being easily controlled at all. I think its a matter of him being an individual whos cruise control is stuck on stupid, and they're all fine with it, because his stupid is more beneficial than harmful in the eyes of people unable to identify it as such - people who vote democrat. I think that qualifies him as 'somewhat useful' to the people wanting to maintain control, but not useful enough, or predictable enough, to be their next choice, even if cankles weren't running.
'When did she know' is a good question. Why not in 2008? Because there was a future in 2008. While the window was closing, it wasn't near closed yet. I think cankles calculated that bathhouse had a window that was closing faster than hers was, and so she calculated - never forget, everything is a calculation with the clintons - that there was no need to use anything she had then. Plus, that was before fast and furious, benghazi, IRS, etc. Its absolutely true that vj is the power behind the throne, likewise to the clinton hatred on her part. Also true is the fact that they do not want to hand back power.
The most important part of what you mentioned, though, works both ways. Its not necessarily easy to say when VJs hatred of the clintons became clear to cankles, but it is probably very safe to say that it became clear almost immediately, in terms of the bigger picture of years. So it can be safely assumed, I think, that cankles had had a number of years to prepare for this, knowing full well and somewhat personally, the people who might try and oppose her from the inside. And more importantly, the kind of people they are. She rubbed shoulders with those people daily. If theres anything that can be damaging to bathhouse or the rest of them you can be sure she has it, and will not hesitate to use it to threaten or coerce. The clintons are people around which there are piles of dead bodies, after all, including people that were supposedly their friends. Anything up to and including murder, can safely be considered a page in the clinton playbook.
What we have here, I think, is 'the chicago way' versus 'the clinton way'. If I were a betting man, my money would be on the chicago way to lose because it is as ineffective inwardly, as it is effective outwardly. And because the chicago way even as filthy dirty as it is, isn't
clinton dirty.
It will be interesting to see what actually does happen.
