Never in my wildest dreams back in the 60's did I ever envision the day would come that I might be carrying one of those.....

YANKEE GO HOME

......signs.

Yankees are like geese.  They come south, stay and just become a nuisance.

Yeah, shit all over the baseball/football/soccer field.

I'll gladly accept a true conservative Yankee and exchange 3 southern liberals for them. Having traveled all over this great nation, we tend to label an entire state based on their major population center's voting records. Middle Pennsylvania is extremely conservative, save Harrisburg. Eastern California, Washington, and Oregon, same way. Eastern Washington (Dry) has even tried to secede from the wet part. West Virginia, once a liberal stronghold due to unions, live their lives as conservatives and only voted Dem for the unions. That's changing because they're finally seeing the left doesn't, and never did, give a shit about them. Even New Yorkers in the rural areas upstate are conservative. They get labeled due to NYC, Buffalo, and the moonbats in Albany.

NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

Quote
There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

I am afraid they're greatly out numbered but a handful of the Yankees retiring here are some of the strongest republicans/conservatives we have in my area....they're just greatly out numbered by the liberal ones.

True, dat!  But don't forget the moonbats in such cities as Syracuse, Rochester, Ithaca . . . Saratoga Springs . . . I could go on, but you get the idea.  Strangely enough, the area that I'm in, just north of the Mohawk from Albany, is rather conservative.

Amen. Strange as it is, the four corners of PA are bastions of liberalism; Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Erie, Scranton. The interior mostly conservative.

I live near Philadelphia in the suburbs, and worked with guys who fly "The Confederate battle flag". I know there is another name for it, but can't remember.  :cheersmate:

That guy was a Marine. A Combat Marine. I just don't understand how a combat Marine could have been so liberal.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

The "Stars and Bars" and the "Southern Cross" are the only other names I can conjour up at the moment for the Confederate battle flag.
