Unless you use your bouncy to diss your parents in the bargain like this one did.

Now how much of this is true and how much of it is because she didn't get that silky pony she wanted is anyone's guess. But the DUmpsters lap it up like kittens warm milk and then spin a few bouncy with in a bouncy stories of their own ( think Shakespeare's play with in a play motif).

This is straight from "The day I can't due my job drunk is the day I hang up my gun and badge."  genre.

Things I believe:
It was 16 and a teenager.
It had a mother and a father.

Plausible points;
If its father stayed, it drove him to drink.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

I went to breakfast this morning at a local roadhouse. The waitress knows me, and brought my coffee. As I sat drinking coffee and reading the paper, my friend Scott joined me. We talked about the school shooting.

The waitress brought another cup, and heard our conversation. She said, "I saw the news reports on the TV, and I just wanted to go home and hug my babies."  My friend said "Yup." I said nothing; there was nothing more to say.

I'm starting to lose my patience with the DUmmies.

I know!!!  There wasn't even a final bodycount and they were salivating over their little bodies for their own political gain. It's disgusting.

I was reading another thread over there where they were going on and on about how baseless any discussion of violence in movies or video games is.  It was a very long and troubling thread.  These people, and I use the term loosely, really don't get it at all.  If it hasn't been posted I will see if I can find it if I get some time later.  Useless Cheeto eating, mouth breathing, species of limited intellectual curiosity but great self esteem best defines the DUmmy  Calling them primitives is an insult to primitives, they debase the terms dDemocrat and progressive as well. IMHO  Mother use to call them Useful Idiots but I choose not to go there either.

It was not long ago that Joe Camel and advertisements in magazines were brainwashing our kids to smoke and had to be removed from the public but playing XBox HALO for 9hrs or watching a violent movie has no effect?  Really?

I don't think that violent games and movies are the trigger, there is something wrong with the people that commit these crimes.  How many millions of kids played these games without ever becoming violent themselves?

If only there had been an armed teacher in the school.

Quote
PORTLAND -- Nick Meli is emotionally drained.  The 22-year-old was at Clackamas Town Center with a friend and her baby when a masked man opened fire.

"I heard three shots and turned and looked at Casey and said, 'are you serious?,'" he said.

The friend and baby hit the floor.  Meli, who has a concealed carry permit, positioned himself behind a pillar.

"He was working on his rifle," said Meli.  "He kept pulling the charging handle and hitting the side."

The break in gunfire allowed Meli to pull out his own gun, but he never took his eyes off the shooter.

"As I was going down to pull, I saw someone in the back of the Charlotte move, and I knew if I fired and missed, I could hit them," he said.

Meli took cover inside a nearby store.  He never pulled the trigger.  He stands by that decision.

"I'm not beating myself up cause I didn't shoot him," said Meli.  "I know after he saw me, I think the last shot he fired was the one he used on himself."

The gunman was dead, but not before taking two innocent lives with him and taking the innocence of everyone else.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

You make a good point about millions of kids not becoming violent but it is the same one is made by law abiding gun owners.  This is one of the points that gets beaten about in the thread I mentioned.

What is not talked about is whether or not the individuals who commit these heinous acts share other traits in common.  While I accept the premise that millions of kids do not have violent outcomes I believe there is a subset that do.  It would seem as an armchair analyst that these traits could be developed into a profile which I suspect might come close to the term 'homicidal maniac'.   I did hear an interesting comment on Rush the other day but will confess other things were going on so I didn't hear the whole thing.  The gist was that liberals have pretty much emasculated the young white male in society causing some to withdraw inward and toward fantasy shoot em up games for validation paraphrased from what I think I heard.  That too could contribute to the rage and dementia these shooters feel.

One last thing.  Years ago there was a guy who used a video game to develop shooting skills then went on a rampage or vendetta but I remember little else of it than he was of Asian origin and wore a leather jacket.  In any event the point was that he learned to shoot (quite well apparently) using a video game.

Have to go rescue some shirts from the dryer.  :bolt:

More leftist logic. Smoking cigarettes in movies makes people smoke. Gratuitous violence in movies, TV, and video games makes people more docile.
