I dont get it, he was arrested on a probation violation not because the film was anti-muslim

Quote
On Friday, U.S. courts spokeswoman Karen Redmond said the Office of Probation in the Central District of California was reviewing whether Nakoula, who has been convicted on bank fraud charges, violated terms of his probation in relation to the video and its uploading onto the Internet.

He had been ordered not to own or use devices with access to the Internet without approval from his probation officer -– and any approved computers were to be used for work only. "Defendant shall not access a computer for any other purpose," the terms read.

Restrictions were also placed on him enlisting others to get on the Internet for him.

What is his work? Isn't he a writer and film maker/ If so then it sounds like this would deal with his work.

Even his work use has to be approved by his probation officer. According to his wiki. Hes a convicted tax cheat, meth cooker, and identity thief. Other than this "film" it doesnt say anything about film making.

The timing of the arrest tells us what is really the motivation behind it.  Muslim appeasement and nothing more.  If probation violation was the real reason they would have nabbed him when the video was first released.

I disagree they would have had no idea that he posted it until it went viral.

Then his probation officer wasn't doing his job.

I'll need to look at the articles on the arrest, but I've been hearing on the talk shows that the LA County Sheriff's Office was only involved in the actual arrest: that FEDERAL Agents were the ones who did the legwork and secured the arrest warrant, which speaks volumes about what's really going on here, if true.

I dont think that is necessarily the case either as the internet is every where and its easy to go anonymous. Sure it possible the probation officer was lazy but he could have be the employee of the year and still have missed it.
