The thing with the consumption tax is that your income level will determin how much you pay. So there will still be people who do not pay it; ie, welfare bums. Unless you guys are talking about a different tax than I am. Fair tax Act is what I am talking about.

Well yes some on the lower wrung of the economic ladder would still pay little or nothing because of exemptions for basic necessities which everyone gets. From that point on it becomes a pay to play world. New items only.
It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

Yeah, I want everyone to pay. No exceptions for anyone.

Everyone should want to pay. If they did, we would have a lot less problems. And by pay, I mean only for a bare bones necessary government.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

I agree. The problem is that too many people don't want to pay, and try to do anything to get out of paying.

An even bigger problem is that there are so called leaders that have for generations now told them they don't have to pay, and on top of that are entitled to payouts.

Okay, you moron, what happened is 0bummer, trying to not be Bush, instead of giving you a tax break decided to lower what they take out of your paycheck via withholding so you would have an extra $5-$25 to spend in the economy each paycheck. But his minions, Pelosi and Reid failed to alter the tax tables so in order to not shock you sleeping masses who never pay attention to why things are they way they are, they came up with this tax credit to balance out their idiocy.

Now, you could take a look at the mess of a tax system we have and demand change that benefits everyone, or you can stay mired in your envy and self-pity and rage against things you refuse to even attempt to understand.

Your choice, Bozo.
