I confronted my friend with the Hillary jab. I said "Hillary must be a bad lay because she couldn't keep her man home at night". He proceeded to tell me to go f__k myself

Liberal hypocrisy is ingrained in the universal fabric like the laws of thermodynamics.
Now go ask him why he thinks his reaction was so easily anticipated and exploited.
He'll blame-shift, change subjects, counter-insult you personally but you've already revealed that being a public figure is NOT license for vile commentary.
In other words his entire exception making exercise was designed to hide HIS misogyny behind cheap excuses. Conservative women are fair game for debasement and dehumanization for no reason except their gender. Yet when the technique is spotted and exploited by conservatives for the express purpose of teaching him about himself he has no defense except hypocritical outrage.
